- The following information is provided to you as a ROUGH (though fairly accurate)
set of directions to the various meeting spots and locales we will be paddling
during the season. As a matter of course, you should always have a map (gps,
onstar hotline, astrolabe) with you, and KNOW HOW TO USE IT!!!
Goucher College Pool- Take 695 to exit 27 towards Towson
(Dulaney Valley Rd) ---- Get into the far left lane quickly ---- Make a left
into the Goucher College campus ---- Make your first left (next to the retention
pond) onto Campus Loop Rd. ---- Follow till you see tennis courts and the
athletic building/dance studio on your left ---- Make a left on the road that
goes between the tennis courts and building ---- Make a right into the small
parking area behind the building (next to a lacrosse field) ---- The pool
entrance is in the corner.
Approximate travel time from WaterDogs Hdqtrs in Towson-- 5 min.
Patapsco River- Daniels Area- Take Rt. 70 West ---- Take
Rt. 29 North ---- Right at the stoplight ---- Left at the roundabout onto
Old Frederick Rd. ---- Left onto Daniels Rd. ---- Follow down the hill to
the first parking area on the left.

Patapsco River- McKeldin Area- Take Rt. 70 West ---- Take
Exit 83 (Marriottsville Rd) and bear right ---- At 2nd stoplight make a right
onto Old Frederick Rd. ---- Left onto Woodstock RD (snowball stand on the
corner) ---- Follow to the bottom of the hill, parking area on the left (across
the street from Ye Old Woodstock Inn).

Susquehana River/ Muddy Creek- Take 695 to Dulaney Valley
Rd, Exit 27 North (Rt 146, away from Towson) ---- Bear left onto Jarretsville
Pike (still 146) as you cross over Loch Raven Reservoir ---- Follow Jarrettsville
Pike to Schuster Rd (approx. 1.5 miles past Ladew Gardens) ----Right onto
Schuster Rd. ---- Schuster Rd ends, right at stop sign (Norrisville Rd) ----
Left at first stoplight onto Rt. 165 (Federal Hill Rd.) ---- Follow Rt. 165
into PA ---- Approximately 5 minutes after entering PA you will be in Delta
---- Left into the Delta Family Restaurant parking lot.
Approximate travel time from WaterDogs Hdqtrs in Towson-- 45 min.
Potomac River- Angler's Inn- Make your way from the Baltimore
region down to the Capital Beltway, Rt. 495 (this can be done via Rt's. 95,
29, 270, whichever is most convenient for you) ---- Take 495 towards Silver
Spring/Bethesda ---- Take Exit 41 ---- Follow to MacArthur Blvd. ---- Make
a left at the stop sign ---- Follow Mac Arthur Blvd. till you see Old Angler's
Inn on your right ---- Left into the parking area. ***PLEASE NOTE--Parking
is at a premium at Angler's Inn, especially on weekends. Please allow some
extra time so you can get a good spot via parking karma.
