Whitewater Skills Package

This all-inclusive package is ideal for beginners, adult and teenagers both!  Teaching about 18 river hours, we cover all the basics of whitewater kayaking, including safety and gear, propulsion and turning strokes, braces, river-reading, ferrying, attaining, surfing and more!  The first day of each session we will be covering self-rescue techniques.  Sign up for our May Session to enjoy your first day in the comfort of Goucher College's heated indoor pool!  Or if you prefer the all-natural experience, the June/July sessions will all take place in one of our local rivers!  All equipment is provided, although if you have your own gear you are welcome to bring it.  Most grads of the program will at this point be ready for a full season of great paddling.   COST- $349  Discount for signing up WITH A FRIEND!  Deduct 5% from the total tuition if you are signing up together, 10% for groups of 3 or more.

• River Session I- May 3 (pool), 10, 17, 24 am
  
• River Session II- June 7 (long day), 14, 21 am
  
• River Session III- July 5 (long day), 12,19 am
• River Session IV-July 4 am (Holiday Short Course)

WaterPups

Looking for a unique, active, and FUN experience for your child? Join our new WaterPups program! Saturday afternoons from May to August are set aside for the young-uns in the pack to have some structured fun. Ages 8-16. Call or email for more info.

Private Lessons

WaterDogs is offering private lessons for those paddlers interested in one on one time for all their lessons, or those paddlers just looking to hone specific skills. Private lessons will be offered on Saturday afternoons, with periodic lesson time available during the week. Lessons will run for approximately two hours. Cost - $150.00
