Based in Northern Baltimore County, Water Dogs is a small and unique organization of dedicated whitewater enthusiasts. Rather than indulge in glitzy promotional materials and ostentatious vehicles, we choose to invest in continuing education for our instructors and in top-of-the-line gear for our students. We're not exactly a club, but we offer many of the same benefits: our students often become paddling partners and friends, the organization has a family feel, and over a third of our students come to us by "word-of-mouth". We stand alone in our knowledge of rivers to the north, south, and west of Baltimore; we are the only school to offer classes on such a variety of local rivers based on daily stream flows. Finally, our instructors are simply top notch; we often receive unsolicited comments from students in reference to the all-around excellence of our instructors.
